Shiguraki Flower Jar, 1962. Incised decoration around the shoulder.
Wood-fired with partial blown ash glaze. Incised mark on the base. Together with a fitted, cedar exhibition box. Signed by the Potter.
Height: 10 1/2 inches (27 cms)
Note: Rakusai was awarded the Grand Prix prize at the 1958 Brussels Expo - Rakusai was designated a prefecture Living Treasure.
